ASIA CUP 2023
The Asia Cup is a men’s One Day International cricket tournament organized by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), and is scheduled to be held in September 2023. It will be the 14th edition of the Asia Cup, and the first to be played in the United Arab Emirates since 1984. The tournament will feature eight teams, with four qualifiers joining the hosts and defending champions in the group stage.
The Asia Cup 2023 will be played from September 13 to 30, with matches taking place in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. A total of 23 matches will be played, with each team playing every other team once in the group stage. The top two teams from each group will progress to the Super Four round, where they will play each other team once more. The top two teams from the Super Four stage will then contest the final.
The eight teams that will take part in Asia Cup 2023 are: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Iran, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and United Arab Emirates. Each team has been placed into one of two groups for the group stage of the tournament:

Asia Cup 2023 Venue
The Asia Cup is set to return in 2023, with the tournament set to be held in India. This will be the first time since 1984 that the Asian cricketing powerhouse has hosted the event.
The tournament will be held from 13th September to 30th September 2023, with a total of six teams taking part. These teams are India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Nepal.
The format of the tournament will see each team play each other once in a round-robin stage, with the top four teams progressing to the knockout stages. The semi-finals and final will be played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
This will be the first time that Afghanistan and Nepal have competed in the Asia Cup, with both nations having been granted Full Member status by the ICC recently. It is sure to be an exciting tournament, with all of the top Asian cricketing nations going head-to-head.
Asia Cup 2023 Teams
The Asian Cricket Council hosts the Asia Cup, a men’s One Day International (ODI) cricket competition (ACC). It takes place twice a decade. The inaugural iteration took place in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, in 1984. The most recent iteration took place in the United Arab Emirates in 2018.
There are currently four teams that have qualified for the Asia Cup: India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. Afghanistan and Nepal are also scheduled to play in the tournament.
India is the most successful team in the tournament, having won it six times. Pakistan has won it twice, while Sri Lanka and Bangladesh have each won it once.
Asia Cup 2023 Squad
The Asia Cup is set to return in 2023, with the tournament scheduled to take place in India between September and October.
A total of ten teams are set to compete in the tournament, with the defending champions, India, being joined by Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Nepal, Oman, UAE and a yet to be determined qualifier.
